A FaceBook friend posted this NY Times book review of Hitler: Ascent, 1889-1939 that caught my attention. I found the review itself interesting and compelling and disturbingly apropos to our time too. I was going to purchase the book to read in the coming month until I saw it was 1008 pages or 34 hours in the audio book version. I’m a little bit too busy now for that much so I’ll hold off until the winter months.
