Trump Fans Attacked A Columnist For Hoping Trump Fails. His Response Is Perfect
Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson received a torrent of right-wing flak for posting a column in which he expressed his hope that Trump fails. Perpetually missing the point, the right-wing media propaganda machine promptly lost its mind at the apparent double standard of the left refusing to support President Trump when we condemned the right for refusing to support President Obama’s agenda.

No thinking person “condemned the Right for refusing to support President Obama’s agenda.” There were bound to be some disagreements, and that’s OK. What was condemned, and rightly so, was the refusal of many Republicans to even consider any of President Obama’s ideas or proposals. Unless I am mistaken, a number of them announced right at the beginning that they would not cooperate with Obama in any way.
