Kennedy got it: the economy grows when people can actually purchase things. And when I say people, I mean all of us. Not just those at the top. An inclusive economy always outperforms an exclusive one.
Unfortunately there is not even a hint that anyone in this incoming administration or the Republican congress we have had for years understands this at all. The most potent cure to a stagnant economy would be to create a middle class and lower class that can afford to purchase goods and services produced locally by other middle and lower class Americans and SMALL businesses.
