We must end our superstitious objections to genetically modified food

Over the past 30 years, GM crop use has spread from the US to most of South America, Asia and Australia. The vast majority of the plants, ranging across 14 crops from soybeans to maize and cotton, are modified to be more resistant to insects or pesticides.
